Junior and Senior High Youth Ministry Program

St. Catherine of Siena reminds us that if we are who God means us to be, we will set the world on fire! Holy Trinity's Junior and Senior High School Youth Ministry Program tries to set the world on fire with the gifts and talents of our young people. Students will have the opportunity to study their faith through fellowship and fun with their friends on Sunday nights.  The Youth Ministry Program is generally held every Sunday night throughout the school year from 7 to 8:30 pm. Come join us. Do not be afraid to set the world on fire!

A listing of Catechists and topics for each class is listed below.

-7th Grade
Leaders: J.P. Denning, Stacey Gierisch, and Liz Vogel
Topics: Primarily Confirmation Preparation with some Youth Ministry Large Group Activities as well.  

-8th Grade
Leaders: Les Koch and Liz Vogel
Topics: Confirmation final preparation in the Fall, and then they join the high school program.

-High School
Leaders: Kathe Dahill, Katie Cassidy, James Dahill, Brandon Rood, Tara Rood, Chris Munoz, and Monica Munoz.
Topics: YDisciple, large group nights, and bible study.

-Seniors
Leaders: Fr. Tom Cronkleton and Deacon Dave Zelenka
Topics: Seniors choose their own topics

Additional Requirements for Confirmation students:

Select a Sponsor and have Sponsor Info Sheet turned in
Turn in Certificate of Baptism & First Communion
Attend two Confirmation Retreats
Participate in Reconciliation before receiving the sacrament of Confirmation, either thru the parish communal penance service or individual confession
Attend Rehearsal for Confirmation.

Service Opportunities for Holy Trinity Youth Ministry

-Church Service-Active participation within the parish community is essential to Christian life. Because of this, each student is asked to participate in at least 20 hours of service within the Holy Trinity Parish community (for students from the other parishes this requirement can be met at their home parish). These hours can be attained by helping in liturgies or parish organized events and services.
-Personal Choice-Obviously there are many different ways that students can find to help in the community. Each student is asked to participate in 10 hours of service time that they decide on themselves. Remember Pope Francis has challenged us to go out to the periphery to help those in need!

Confirmation Students need 30 hours of service. Remember to track your hours!
