An Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion assists in feeding the assembly the Body and Blood of the Lord with a sense of joy, reverence, hospitality, and care. Ministers generally serve every 2-3 weeks, with schedules posted each month. A minister must be a fully initiated Catholic able to participate fully in the sacramental life of the church.
Initial training and yearly refreshers are provided.
