HTCCW elected officers for the 2018-2020 years at the April 6th meeting. Two HTCCW members were appointed to commissions with the Cheyenne CCW Deanery.
The April 22nd Tea to celebrate Holy Trinity ladies was a great party. Approximately sixty guests were served by the HTCCW Tea Party Hostesses. Along with tea, savory and sweet treats were enjoyed, Eileen Smith, HTCCW co-president spoke, a raffle was held and there was a mini Gift Shoppe providing a fun shopping experience for all the guests. HTCCW has purchased a new large freezer for Mother Cabrini Hall and paid for the electrical work with the help of the parish to have it up and running. The cost was around $4,378.
HTCCW has donated a total of $15,000 to the Holy Trinity Building Fund over the last couple of years. We want to thank our parish for supporting our Garage Sale and Bazaar so that these things and others are possible!
HTCCW is donating extra fabric to St Lucy's Sewing Group at St. John the Evangelist in Loveland, CO. They make dresses and shorts for "Dress a Girl Around the World" who send these handmade items to Third World Countries.
On the weekend of November 18-19 there will be a second collection for Catholic Campaign for Human Development in connection to the World Day for the Poor.
Please note that we have changed our mid day Mass time for Holy Days. The 10 am Mass has been moved to 12:10 pm. After discussion with the parish council and reviewing the parish survey responses, it was determined that this new Mass time would accommodate more people.
Enjoy lunch at Texas Roadhouse to benefit Cheyenne Day of Giving on Tuesday, November 14th, 11 am to 1 pm. Tickets are required and are $12 each ($6 per ticket will be donated to Day of Giving). The menu includes BBQ Pulled Pork, Corn, Caesar Salad and Rolls (a drink is included with all dine-in orders only). Deliveries can be scheduled for orders of 5 or more. Join us for a Trunk-or-Treat in the church parking lot from 6-8 pm on October 31st. You can decorate your car or a parking space and hand out treats to all of the children that come to trick-or-treat. We will have hot chocolate to keep you warm! If you have little ones, please bring them by to enjoy this fun event!
A new class will begin Saturday, October 21st following the 8 am Mass for anyone interested in joining. Meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
