Welcome to Holy Trinity Parish

We are a Catholic parish of the Diocese of Cheyenne, nestled in a residential neighborhood just off of East Lincolnway, Converse Avenue and Pershing Boulevard, in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Many opportunities are offered to young and old alike. We have a vibrant youth ministry program (preschool through high school), which includes faith formation, sacramental preparation, social activities and service projects. At three weekend Masses, we have Children's Liturgy of the Word. We have a dynamic adult program, which also includes faith formation, sacramental preparation, social activities and service projects. We promote stewardship as a way of life through sharing time in prayer, talent in service of God and neighbor, and treasure with God and the Church.  In addition to our Sunday, Holy Day, and Weekday Masses, we have daily adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

Holy Trinity is truly a parish open to all, grounded in prayer and a messenger of the Gospel. We invite you to tour our website and see the many and varied opportunities we have to offer you, and to come join our parish family in prayer and as messengers of the Gospel.

Access for All: Rising to the Challenge, Now and in the Future

Holy Trinity is currently raising funds to finance an addition to the church that would provide ADA compliant bathrooms, an elevator, and storage areas. Additional improvements include air conditioning for the church and doubling the parking lot size.

See floor plans and learn more about the project here...

As of Tuesday, November 15, 2016, our total amount raised is $1,657,507 toward our goal of $2,250,000!

Thank you to all who have selflessly given to our Capital Campaign.

We matched the 1:2 $50,000 from the Catholic Extension Society of America by raising an additional $100,000..  Thank you to all who helped us to do this and to all our donors.

Archbishop-Elect Paul Etienne, as a parting gift to the parish, was able to direct a figt from a donor to the parish of a 1:1 $50,000 grant for the parking lot and addition tothe church.  We will be working to match this new gift.  Thank you Archbishop-Elect Etienne and the anonymous donor!  Please consider an extension to your pledge or an additional pledge or donation to help us match this new challenge grant and to make our project a reality.

The parking lot is done!  Hooray!  Simon Contractors has completed their work on the parking lot, except for some landscaping which will be done in the spring.  Note that there is special reserved parking for those who are scheduled to do Adoration while Mass is being celebrated.  The west exit was retained, and the dirt road to the alley is now paved,  We went from 76 parking spaced to 160.

Haselden Construction continues to work on the addition to the church.  The basement walls are up.  The elevator shaft has been constructed.  Steel has been nstalled, and the decking for the floor over the basement is done.  Soon work to enclose the building will begin. Cabrini Hall is closed so that work can be done to install the mechanics for the air conditioning.  We removed the newly reburbished Stations of the Cross so they do not accidently get knocked from the walls or covered with dust.  Holes are being drilled into the church floor so that the floor vents can be installed for the air codnitioning.  Work on the addition is scheduled to be done by the first week of March of 2017.

Total cost the new parking lot and the addition to the church will be $2.25 million. A construction loan has been secured, which will turn into a traditional loan once the projects are completed.  We will be carrying a debt for a while, and will need to do additional fund raising to address the difference between what we have raised and the total project costs.

Please contact Fr. Tom is you have questions or would like to contribute to this project.

Living and Giving in Christ: Unity Through Diocesan Mninistry

Our parish, Holy Trinity, is a part of the Diocese of Cheyenne, which is the local Church in the State of Wyoming.  Together with the Bishop and the priests, deacons, religious and laity we constitute the one, holy, catholic and apostolic church in our little corner of the world.  This is one of the reasons that the Bishop is always mentioned in the Eucharistic prayers at Mass.  The Living and Giving in Christ Appeal helps to support the Church of which we are a part.  One of those ministries is faith formation.  Through the Diocesan Pastoral Ministries Office support is given to each parish to help with our parochial faith formation ministry.  For example, the Diocese obtained for us the license to use the Formed.org.  This is an online video service with some fantastic videos about the faith. Contact the parish office to try it.  The ministry of faith formation is just one of the ways the Diocese supports the parish.  Your gift to Living and Giving in Christ makes this possible.

Our goal is $107,858.  We encourage everyone to make a pledge and/or donation.  If everyone would make a gift, this will help us to achieve the goal.  We encourage the tithe where 5% is given to the parish, 2% to the annual appeal and 3% to other collections and charities.  Holy Trinity is required to make our goal, and if we fall short, we have to make up the difference between what is pledged and our goal.  This last year, we were short and had to contribute to the Diocese $17,068.50 from our regular parish offerings.  Please, therefore, be sure to complete a pledge envelope using either the one you received in the mail or one in the pews.  If you moved to Holy Trinity from another parish, please mark your parish as “Holy Trinity,” to properly insure we are credited for your donation.  Packets with brochures and pledge cards are in the pews and the vestibule.  Thank you for your generosity to the Diocese and to our parish.
