Welcome to Holy Trinity Parish

We are a Catholic parish of the Diocese of Cheyenne, nestled in a residential neighborhood just off of East Lincolnway, Converse Avenue and Pershing Boulevard, in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Many opportunities are offered to young and old alike. We have a vibrant youth ministry program (preschool through high school), which includes faith formation, sacramental preparation, social activities and service projects. At three weekend Masses, we have Children's Liturgy of the Word. We have a dynamic adult program, which also includes faith formation, sacramental preparation, social activities and service projects. We promote stewardship as a way of life through sharing time in prayer, talent in service of God and neighbor, and treasure with God and the Church.  In addition to our Sunday, Holy Day, and Weekday Masses, we have daily adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

Holy Trinity is truly a parish open to all, grounded in prayer and a messenger of the Gospel. We invite you to tour our website and see the many and varied opportunities we have to offer you, and to come join our parish family in prayer and as messengers of the Gospel.

Lenten Regulations

1. By the law of God and the custom of the Church, all Christians are required to do penance.

2. The season of Lent retains its penitential character. The days of penance to be observed under obligation are Ash Wednesday and all Fridays of the Lenten season.

3. Abstinence from meat is to observed on all Fridays of Lent. The law of abstinence and fast is to be observed on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.

4. The law of abstinence forbids the consumption of meat. The law of fasting permits only one full meal per day.

5. The law of abstinence binds those who have celebrated their 14th birthday. The law of fasting binds those who have celebrated their 18th birthday and continues until they have celebrated their 59th birthday.

6. Pastors and parents should take particular care to educate the young to a true sense of penance and self-discipline. More frequent use of the Sacrament of Penance and attendance at daily Mass should be encouraged during Lent, as well as other practices of penance and self-sacrifice.

7. The Fridays of the year outside Lent remain days of penance, but each individual may substitute traditional abstinence from meat with some other practice of voluntary self-denial or personal penance: this may be physical mortification, act of religion, charity or Christian witness. These works should be considered a minimal response to the Lord's call to penance and conversion of life.

8. All priests and deacons are delegated to grant dispensations to individuals, families or groups from their parish and visiting their parish.

Capital Campaign

l

Access for All: Rising to the Challenge, Now and in the Future

Holy Trinity is currently raising funds to finance an addition to the church that would provide ADA compliant bathrooms, an elevator, and storage areas. Additional improvements include air conditioning for the church and doubling the parking lot size.

See floor plans and learn more about the project here...

As of Tuesday, February 9, 2016, our total amount raised is $1,396,180 toward our goal of $1,700,000!

Thank you to all who have selflessly given to our Capital Campaign.  We are hoping to go to bid on the pariking lot at the end of January, and to go to bid on the addition in February. Please consider extending your pledge or making an additional pledge to make our project a reality.

Please contact Fr. Tom is you have questions or would like to contribute to this project.
